Doreen and Ron Bidgood have owned Quarrybrae Boarding Kennels and Cattery since 2001.
Doreen has worked professionally with animals for over 20 years and is a German Shepherd fanatic and currently owns 6 dogs all bred by her. Doreen also runs the Rio Dog Training Club in her spare time and for fun competes in obedience competitions with her GSDs. She is happy to advise on any dog behaviour and socialisation issues.
Kennel hygiene a priority
At Quarrybrae Boarding Kennels and Cattery we are passionate about the safety and well being of your pets :-
They are never allowed to mix with pets from other homes. Dogs follow a routine similar to that for the average home getting out at least 4 times a day including a chance to play off-lead in our secure field.
Dogs have a late evening comfort outing around 9pm while pillows are puffed up and biscuits put down. Cattery lights out is around 10pm after final checks and cuddles.
Day care as well as long term stays are catered for. Pets must be up to date with annual vaccinations but kennel cough vaccination is not a requirement because there is no guarantee of prevention.
Should any boarder become ill, we are fully insured up to £1200 for any vets fees, please ask for further details.
